AWD Chase de Vere has denied any wrongdoing in its dealings with Yateley Industries, a packing and assembly firm providing employment opportunities for the disabled.
The advisory group also denied any knowledge of complaints lodged against the firm by Yateley with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). Roy Grimwood, chairman of Yateley, said he has submitted complaints at the end of July to the FSA and the FOS over AWD's conduct as trustee of Yateley's pension scheme. Yateley claimed whilst AWD was the trustee of its pension scheme, between 2001 and 2011, it badly overestimated the scheme's liabilities.
