New Hargreaves Lansdown chief executive Ian Gorham has been granted 1.3 million shares worth more than £5.7m under the wealth manager's executive share option scheme.
Gorham was awarded 500,000 shares on 30 September at an exercise price of 409.76p and 800,000 shares today, at 458.23p. Hargreaves says the award is the balance being made "in recognition of Ian Gorham's appointment as CEO" on 2 September. The term of option on Gorham's new shares runs from 8 October 2013 to 8 October 2020. Born in 1971, Gorham replaced co-founder Peter Hargreaves as CEO.
