IFAs show faith in fixed interest - Skandia

Advisers turned to fixed income in January as demand for reduced risk investments increases, Skandia statistics show.

Half of the top ten selling funds on the Skandia MultiFunds platform last month were fixed interest, with M&G’s High Interest offering topping the list. There were also strong inflows into the Merrill Lynch Gold & General and JP Morgan Natural Resources funds, demonstrating continuing faith in the commodity theme.
