Stern joins SLI investment board

Standard Life Investments (SLI) has appointed Guy Stern to its board as head of multi-asset & macro investing.

Stern (pictured), who has been responsible for the day to day running of the firm's multi-asset investments since 2008, joins the executive team following the resignation of Euan Munro who is leaving to become chief executive at competitor Aviva Investors. Stern will report to chief investment officer Rod Paris and will start with immediate effect.
