Roger Edwards leaves Royal London

Roger Edwards, managing director of UK protection at Royal London, is to leave the company.

Edwards decided not to be considered for a role in the new structure of the intermediary division and will leave the company in due course to pursue new challenges. Hugh McKee, chief executive of Royal London's intermediary division, said: "We are starting to restructure the intermediary division to help deliver greater efficiency while continuing to provide strong expertise in our chosen markets.
