IFAs vote Robson to take FSA top slot

Over half of IFAonline's poll respondents believe the person to replace FSA's John Tiner should be former civil servant Steve Robson.

When asked who should replace John Tiner when he leaves his chief executive role later this year, 56% of IFAonline readers who added their vote to a recent straw poll suggested Sir Steve Robson would be best placed to take over. Robson has strong links with the Treasury as a former permanent secretary and managing director of the finance, industry and regulation directorate the Treasury, and is currently non-exec director of the Royal Bank of Scotland.
