Attractive venture capital trust issues left over from tax year end are still on offer, says David Aaron Partnership
New VCTs issues are to slow over the summer months prompting investors to buy now, according to Martin Churchill, director of research at the Tax Shelter Report. The VCT market always sees a quiet period over the summer and trusts begin to launch again around September, Churchill said. 'To shelter gains in a VCT an investment must be made within 12 months of receiving those gains. There will be some investors who will wait until August but then find that there are no such vehicles to invest in.'
