Diversification of clients’ assets is the top reason cited by advisers for recommending multi-asset funds, recent Aegon research has found.

Of 200 advisers surveyed for Aegon's adviser attitudes report, almost two-thirds (63%) cited diversification of client assets as a key reason for recommending the funds. Multi-asset funds were the top investment choice recommended by financial advisers, with 90% of those surveyed in Aegon's adviser attitudes report using multi-asset strategies for accumulation and decumulation.
