Welsh firm declared failed by FSCS over pensions advice

Claims can now be made against Broadlands Partnership

Bridgend-based firm Broadlands Partnership has been declared failed by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

In a statement released on Friday (14 June), the FSCS said the firm no longer exists, and customers can make claims against it. The lifeboat fund said it has received eight claims against Broadlands Partnership relating to pensions advice and one has been upheld and seven have been unsuccessful. It also confirmed that the claim was not associated with British Steel Pension Scheme transfers.
