Advice firm Emergenzz launches to boost new adviser diversity

Training those from diverse backgrounds and Gen Z

A new advice firm specialising in advice-based insurance products including life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection and business protection has secured authorisation by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Emergenzz Financial Services is a Black-British female-owned company founded by Dr Sheun Oke, who is also chief executive of the business, and will work towards training the new generation of financial advisers, with a specific focus on those from diverse backgrounds and Generation Z (those born between 1997 and 2009). By gathering advisers with "unique perspectives and experiences", the company aims to provide personalised and relatable guidance to its clients, Oke detailed.
