Fintel urges advisers to look at new areas of growth as ‘world is changing’

Advisers are going to need “a bigger toolbox” as technology “proves popular”, according to Fintel.

Speaking to Professional Adviser, joint chief executive (CEO) Matt Timmins said the change in attitude towards integrating technology has been "stark". Timmins said the world is "changing" which means that advisers will need to look at new areas of growth. "Advisers are going to need a bigger toolbox. The whole sector needs to come together," he said. "Firms can deal with Consumer Duty effectively if they are able to record it, and technology allows that." The statement has come after Fintel today (19 September) reported a "strong financial half-year performance" for the six months...
