Gill Furniss has been appointed as Labour's new shadow pensions minister, taking over the brief from Matt Rodda. Furniss - a member of parliament for Sheffield Brightside and Hillsborough since 2016 - had previously been shadow minister for transport. Her shadow transport brief covered green transport, transport decarbonisation, future transport and roads.
