B Corp certifications up as 58 UK investment firms join ranks

More than 1,000 businesses attain B Corp certification including 58 investment firms

A total of 58 UK investment firms have become a B Corporation, as London becomes the city with the most B Corps in the world.

B Lab UK, part of a global non-profit network, announced on 14 November that it had reached more than 1,000 certified B Corps in the UK, the same amount as all of mainland Europe. This is up from 564 UK companies at the end of last year. Among the 58 investment firms included in the list are EQ Investors, Beckett Investment Management Group and AKO Capital. Advice firms such as Path Financial and First Wealth are among the financial planning businesses to attain the certification.
