Aviva, Transact and True Potential dominate platform net sales in 2021

Three adviser platforms were clear at the top of the net sales charts in 2021, according to data from consultancy Fundscape.

Aviva just pipped Transact, which has held top spot for a several years, according to Fundscape, adding £5.5bn in 2021 to Transact's £5.4bn. The two firms were also top in 2020. True Potential added £5.2bn in net sales ahead of Abrdn (£3.9bn) and AJ Bell (£3.6bn). Gross sales paint a different story, with Abrdn and Quilter at the top, onboarding £9.1bn and £9.0bn respectively. Fundscape said it represented Quilter's best gross sales figures in four years.
