UK retirement security dips for fourth consecutive year

Ranking comes amid bleak economic outlook in the wake of Covid

The UK has ranked in 18th out of 44 countries in Natixis Investment Managers’ annual retirement index comparison rankings, obtaining an overall score of 72%.

The Natixis Investment Managers Global Retirement Index 2021 also revealed that four out of 10 investors globally felt it was  "going to take a miracle" to retire securely. Significantly, seven out of 10 said accessing investments that reflect their values would motivate them to save for retirement.
