Compliance firm reports stream of Rolls-Royce DB scheme queries

A well-known compliance firm has already received calls from a series of firms asking for support following the regulator’s data request over the Rolls-Royce defined benefit (DB) pension scheme.

An employee at the firm, who wished not to be named, revealed to Professional Adviser that they have personally received calls from seven financial advice firms asking for support with Rolls-Royce DB scheme holders. Other colleagues have also received calls, the worker added. These firms, they said, were trying to understand if they needed to think about anything else or if there are scheme issues that are not common knowledge.
