Advisers face commotion after CII exam dates 'unbooked' online

Several advisers have faced trouble re-booking their Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) exams following changes made by the body in response to social distancing rules.

One adviser, who preferred not to be named, told Professional Adviser their exam had been "unbooked" online after checking it on Tuesday morning (29 September).  The exam, which was moved from April to June, was then moved to October, before being cancelled, or "unbooked". The adviser managed to re-book their exam for 14 October. They told PA: "Apparently they [the CII] are now saying not everyone will get a chance to sit them due to distancing rules."
