Magenta's Julie Lord steps away from client advice after 34 years

Julie Lord of Chartered South Wales firm Magenta Financial Planning is stepping away from giving client advice after 34 years of working as an adviser.

Lord's last day in her regulated role was on 1 September, and will now work two days per month on behalf of Magenta, covering the likes of writing and social media for the firm. Magenta was founded in 2016 by Lord and fellow planner Gretchen Betts. Betts will take on Lord's clients in her absence, and the firm has plans to hire new planners following Lord's exit from client advice.  Prior to setting up Magenta FP, Lord founded Cavendish Financial Management, which she sold in 2007.
