Prudential's self-employed advice arm could result in wider offering

Prudential Financial Planning has recruited 25 of its advisers to its new self-employed arm The Advice Partnership, which could expand to third party products.

The partnership, announced earlier this year, will allow 30 of its 360 advisers to start their own businesses with access to the insurance giant's existing planning products. Prudential said it was in the process of onboarding 25 founding partners from the firm, who are expected to start on January 1 and will eventually have the option to capture enterprise value.
