CISI launches dedicated financial services mental health portal

The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (CISI) has launched a mental health portal in a bid to encourage conversation around mental health throughout financial services.

The launch of the portal comes on World Mental Health Day and follows a 2018 membership survey by the body that found only 46% of respondents would feel comfortable speaking to their manager if they had a mental health issue.  This figure improved slightly to 55% in 2019 but CISI said the portal showed its commitment to the wellbeing of its members, the wider financial services profession and its staff.
