Ex-Tilney CEO Hall joins Schroders as global head of wealth management

Schroders has appointed former Tilney chief executive Peter Hall as global head of wealth management, replacing Andrew Ross who is stepping back to become vice chairman of wealth management.

Subject to regulatory approval, Hall's position will be effective from 2 January 2019.  Based in London, he will report to Schroders group chief executive Peter Harrison and take all of Ross's direct reports. Ross will continue in his current role until 31 December 2018 to ensure a smooth transition. Hall stepped down from his role at Tilney in October after seven years at the helm. More recently he has been an adviser to Tilney's parent company Permira on pursuing investment opportunities in global wealth management.
