Hawksmoor appoints Plymouth Argyle FC chairman to board

Joins as a non-executive director

Hawksmoor Investment Management has appointed entrepreneur and Plymouth Argyle Football Club chairman James Brent as a non-executive director.

Based in the south west, Brent spent 25 years with Schroders' investment banking arm, and went on to become the bank's youngest director. He was later appointed global head and chairman of real estate and lodging at Citigroup. As well as the owner and chairman of Plymouth Argyle FC, Brent is also chairman of the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust.
