Fidelity International is to close its Kent office, home to 650 employees including its investment management operations team, in 2020.
The firm has three UK sites, its London site in St Paul's, one in Surrey and one in Tonbridge, Kent. It has now decided it will close the Kent office in 2020 in order to be more "more efficient and more collaborative" working from two offices rather than three. A spokesperson for Fidelity said the 650 Tonbridge employees would be offered the possibility to relocate 30 miles away to the Surrey office in their existing roles.
