OMW's adviser school to offer new training programmes for mortgage advisers

The Old Mutual Wealth-owned Financial Adviser School (FAS) plans to add two new training programmes to its existing curriculum this August.

The FAS will offer a new package for candidates aiming to obtain their certificate in mortgage advice and practice (the CeMAP qualification), and a soft-skills-only course for qualified advisers. The mortgage and practice package will consist of a six month course providing training on the FSRE and CeMAP 2, and three exams. It will be taught via remote-learning sessions, workshops and other study tools and will result in students obtaining the level three qualification required to give advice on mortgages.
