Charles Stanley expands asset allocation team

Intermediary distribution head Mark Pittaccio has left

Charles Stanley has hired Kamil Amin from BlackRock for its asset allocation team, while Investment Week can also reveal intermediary distribution head Mark Pittaccio has left the firm.

Amin worked for BlackRock as an associate since September 2014 and will join Charles Stanley as an investment strategy analyst. Prior to this, he worked as an FX analyst at Caxton FX and a credit research analyst intern for Aberdeen Asset Management. He will take over from Pierre Micallef who was promoted to multi-asset fund manager in November 2016. Meanwhile, Pittaccio (pictured), who was head of intermediary distribution, has left the firm.
