Former Man from the Pru jailed for £250k whisky scam

An ex-Prudential financial adviser has been imprisoned for two years for swindling pensioners out of their life savings.

Lee Chapman, the former adviser, in an elaborate scam with his brother Mark, who has also been jailed, took more than £250,000 from elderly investors in Devon, according to the Exeter Express and Echo. The brothers convinced they were investing in a successful multi-million pound business selling whisky branded with the name of the Marylebone Cricket Club and the Old Father Time logo from Lords.
