Pension Wise access extended to begin from age 50

The government is extending access to its 'free and impartial' retirement guidance service Pension Wise to those aged 50 and above.

It also said it would be launching a "comprehensive" nationwide marketing campaign to further raise awareness of the service which, it added, had so far been used by 85,000 people. Pension Wise was launched to coincide with the widespread pension taxation changes introduced in April this year, and has to date been available to over-55s only.
