UK retail flows buoy Henderson but Formica warns on 'challenging' markets

Henderson has reported strong net UK retail inflows of £814m for the third quarter but cautioned difficulties lie ahead for investors.

The firm enjoyed net inflows of £1.4bn across its business in the third quarter, driven by flows into its UK (£814m) and European (£263m) retail businesses, to maintain its healthy recent performance. Top-selling UK retail funds on the quarter included Henderson UK Property, John Bennett's Euro Selected Opportunities fund, Chris Burvill's Cautious Managed fund, John Pattullo and Jenna Barnard's Strategic Bond fund and the Multi Manager Income and Growth fund, the group added.
