Prudential links with True Potential in onshore bond platform push

Insurer Prudential has launched an onshore bond available through the True Potential platform.

It said advisers would be able to access onshore portfolio bonds for clients more efficiently through the platform and cut administration costs. It also said onshore bonds were currently hard to access via platforms and it was the first major insurer to move into the space. Prudential International Assurance and Platforms managing director Michael Leahy said while the company was not looking to establish its own platform it was keen to further develop its contact with advisers by developing new products.
