Lloyds hires Ex-Pru CEO as Scottish Widows chair

Former Prudential chief executive Nick Prettejohn has joined Lloyds Banking Group as a non-executive director and chairman of Scottish Widows.

Prettejohn, who will also serve as a member of Lloyds' audit and risk committees, will replace Lord Blackwell as chairman of Scottish Widows on 23 June. Blackwell became chair of parent group Lloyds earlier this month, replacing the retiring Win Bischoff. Prettejohn was CEO at Prudential UK and Europe from 2006 to 2009, and was until recently a non-executive director of the Prudential Regulation Authority.
