FCA drops second retrial in iSoft case

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has dropped the persecution of three iSoft directors and the firm's ex-chairman, it announced today.

A second retrial of the case against healthcare software provider iSoft, in particular its directors Stephen Graham, Timothy Whiston and John Whelan and former chairman Patrick Cryne, was dropped by the regulator after a legal argument about an exhibit stalled proceedings. The FCA said it had reviewed all its options and decided that it would not be in the public interest for a second retrial to be pursued.
