Geffen and Guy among new Rich List entrants

Neptune founder Robin Geffen and former Gartmore star Roger Guy are among the highest profile new fund management names in the latest UK wealth rankings.

The latest Sunday Times Rich List rankings put Geffen's wealth at £90m, courtesy of his 47.2% stake in the £150m Neptune business and other interests. Meanwhile Guy, who retired from day-to-day fund management at the end of 2010 after 17 years at Gartmore, enters the list at number 387 through his £200m fortune. While the likes of Hargreaves Lansdown founder Peter Hargreaves have seen their wealth soar over the past year, one famous name has moved in the other direction. New Star founder John Duffield has slipped outside the top 250 after his wealth dropped £5m to £325m last year. ...
