Suffolk Life reports £5bn assets under administration

Suffolk Life has reached £5 billion assets under administration for the first time.

The group's portfolio has doubled since the launch of the MasterSipp in 2007, with assets under administration increasing by £1bn since October 2011. Commenting on the growth, Greg Kingston, head of marketing, said: "Staff numbers are broadly the same as three years ago, yet as well as looking after a significant number of new SIPPs we've also driven through significant legislative change. That demonstrates efficiency and good scalability to grow our business further in the future."
