Perspective acquires Durham IFA

Perspective Financial Group has made its 24th acquisition with the purchase of Durham-based independent financial adviser (IFA) Walter Wright Financial Services (WWFS).

The firm has been integrated into Rutherford Wilkinson, a Newcastle IFA which Perspective bought in 2008. WWFS has £48m in funds under management, an annual turnover of £190,000 and £90,000 in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA). Its managing director, Rob Vallily, will stay on for a short, transitionary period before retiring. Damian Keeling, managing director of Perspective, said: "Normally directors at our acquisitions commit to the two-year earn-out period and the firms continue to run as separate operations within the wider group structure. ...
