Global X leads with aluminium ETF

Global X Funds has launched the Aluminium ETF, described as the first fund of its kind focused on aluminium.

Global X Aluminium is trading on the NYSE Arca under the symbol ALUM and with an expense ratio of 0.69%. The ETF tracks the Solactive Global Aluminium Index, investing in the largest and most liquid companies across the world involved in aluminium mining. The fund's SEC filing reveals that it is expected to invest at least 80% of its total assets in the securities represented by the underlying index, 75% of which were foreign companies at the point of filing in June.
