Charles Schwab has unveiled a range of managed portfolios comprising ETFs, available through a fee-based advisory programme in the US.
The Schwab Managed Portfolios - ETFs consist of diversified ETF holdings representing up to 20 asset classes. These include equities, fixed income, Treasury Inflation Protected Securities (TIPs), real estate and commodities such as energy, agriculture and precious metals. The portfolios have a minimum investment of $100,000 and will be available to Schwab clients from January 19. Schwab has also slashed online equity trade commissions for investors to $8.95 per online trade in stocks or non-Schwab ETFs.
