The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (Ami) has published wording to help intermediaries access client information post-completion.
The publication of the wording – to be included in a letter and signed by a client – follows reports from Ami members over the problems they face in obtaining information on client’s mortgages from lenders post-completion. Lenders often cite the Data Protection Act (DPA) as restricting them from supplying client’s personal data.
