Ashby to run converted CS Global Income Plus fund

Credit Suisse has converted its £16.5m CS Worldwide Growth vehicle into the new Global Income Plus fund - to be run by Graham Ashby, Marcus Chandler and Mira Bhogaita.

Following a strategic review, 97% of shareholders voted in favour of the change, which allows a broader equity income approach. They will be hoping for improved performance for the fund, run by Neil Gregson, which fell 6.8% over the year to end March and was ranked 122 out of the 168 funds in the IMA Global Growth sector. Credit Suisse says the team will maintain a 40-50 stock portfolio, with each holding broadly weighted between 1-3%.
