Invesco and Widows deny rift rumours

Invesco Perpetual and Scottish Widows have denied rumours their business relationship may be in jeopardy.

Speculation has surfaced Invesco and Widows re-negotiation talks have broken down with Invesco believed to have walked away from the table and threatened to take their funds off the Widows platform. The talks, described by sources as ‘routine’, determine the amount of compensation an investment house receives for placing its funds on a platform.
