A raft of possible tax and pensions announcements and changes could be included in the Labour government's 30 October Autumn Budget.

It's time to "embrace the harsh light of fiscal reality". That was the message from prime minister Keir Starmer in a Monday speech as Autumn Budget Day ticked ever closer. After weeks of leaks, speculation and of course controversy, the day is almost here. Come teatime tomorrow, advisers (and the nation) will have a great deal more clarity on what tackling that so-called reality is going to take under Labour. Big changes are almost undoubtedly afoot.
