    Ros Altmann named pension minister (11 May) Flush from their election victory on 8 May, within three days the Tories hit financial services with the appointment of Ros Altmann as pension minister. Altmann was not an MP but the Conservatives will nominate her for a peerage so she can become a Cabinet minister.
