Matthew Williams, manager of the Prudential Managed Defensive fund, tells Maria Merricks how he is achieving downside protection.

1 What has been the main driver behind the fund's outperformance over five years? The best return an investor can get is the one they expect to get. As such, we set objectives with the investor in mind. Firstly, the fund has a capital preservation objective.
