Fidelity International's Julian Webb says platforms can go beyond merely helping advisers ease the regulatory burden of RDR.

The FSA’s final policy paper on platforms, which was supposed to have been released this month, has been delayed to Q3. With the implementation date of end-2012 moving ever closer, the FSA should not be criticised for taking its time to work out effective and sustainable rules on complex and potentially delicate areas such as platform cash rebates and legacy assets.
