iShares has listed its first ETFs tracking the stocks of companies involved in producing commodities.
Equity markets are pricing in a double dip, high-yield looks attractive, and volatility of gold returns are likely to increase, according to head of investment strategy at Barclays Wealth, Kevin Gardiner.
The index will measure stock performance of companies engaged in exploration or production of scarce, renewable commodities and will include a Shariah compliant sub-index.
