Industry Voice: It's time to get excited about UK dividend growth

A ‘no-deal' exit from the EU was avoided at the last minute, while the roll out of the Covid-19 vaccination has been successfully implemented, especially in comparison to neighbouring countries in Europe. Covid-19 impinged on consumers' spending over the course of 2020, resulting in a strong-level of pent up demand, which bodes well for the UK economy. 

Many companies have resumed making dividend payments, with market expectations for a sharp recovery in dividend payments over the course of 2021.
