Dentons Pension Management has enhanced its web portal to give advisers 24 hour access to client portfolios.
The enhancements enable advisers to see their clients' SIPP contributions over the current and past three tax years. The provider said it would help advisers assess whether carry forward rules are applicable to that client.
In addition the adviser can view what benefits clients in capped or flexible drawdown are taking as well as getting an overview of all assets held by each client.
Daily downloads will be available from companies such as Cater Allen, Selftrade and Investec Wealth & Investment.
The portal also enables advisers to access additional details about clients such as whether their fund is protected by the lifetime allowance.
Dentons' director of technical services, Martin Tilley, said: "The advisers we work with have an increasing requirement for ‘anytime' access to their clients' SIPP investments information, in particular when looking at carry forward and inheritance tax planning. Our online SIPP portal is designed to keep advisers informed and up to date on the status of their clients' SIPPs."
A demonstration of the portal can be found here.
