In this case study David Trenner looks at some of the advice issues brought up by the Budget.

Anthony is 66 and has come to see you to talk about how the Budget changes will affect him. He went part-time at age 58, and at 60 he stopped working completely and started to receive a gross pension from a former employer's scheme of £8,000 p.a.  He took the tax-free cash from his personal pensions in full and spent most of it on a family holiday. He has also been in drawdown for about eight years.
