When it comes to investing, it makes sense to think actively and to build portfolios around long-term principles such as diversification, overlaid with an active approach to asset allocation, stock selection, risk management and other components of the process. The global economic upswing has been long but shallow and inflationary pressures remain subdued. This creates a fertile environment for risk assets.
