VCTs attracted 'stellar amounts' of capital in the 2017/18 tax year and, says Ian Battersby, it will be interesting to see how quickly - and well - this gets deployed now a new chapter for the tax-efficient sector has begun

As the curtain falls on another tax year, there is every reason to think the tax-advantaged investment community will have digested the general outcome of the Patient Capital Review (PCR) - that is, the changes announced in the November Budget and subsequent update in the Spring Statement.
