Even as things stand ahead of any implementation of the proposals in the Department for Work & Pensions' freshly published Auto-Enrolment Review, more than eight million members are now enrolled in an automatic enrolment pension scheme. That is more than 500,000 employers - and there are still more to join over the next 15 months. According to the Pensions Regulator, meanwhile, eligible members contributed £87.1bn in savings in 2016.
